Cookies

furnely's cookie policy is short by design: we use a self-hosted measurement tool that does not set cookies, and we do not run any advertising or third-party tracking.

Cookies in use

At this pre-launch phase, the storefront sets no first-party cookies. Once the checkout goes live, Stripe's payment iframe will set its own cookies for fraud prevention (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid). These are strictly necessary for payment processing and are exempt from the consent requirement under Article 82-2 of the French Data Protection Act.

Why we do not show a consent banner

The French competent data protection authority guidance (article 82 of the Loi Informatique et Libertés) requires consent for cookies that are not strictly necessary to provide the service. Our self-hosted analytics tool uses an in-memory device fingerprint that is hashed and aggregated server-side. It sets no cookie. It does not follow you across sites. The competent data protection authority's 2020 guidance on respectful analytics exempts such measurement from consent.

Third-party cookies

We do not embed Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any other third-party tracker. We do not sell impressions or behaviour to advertisers.
